this ring is designed to age and patina with time. The powder coating will continue to age and rust with time. The plastic “pack” creates a barrier between the COR-10 steel and your finger to insure comfort. The plastic pack is removable from the steel, but I would not advise separating them - the PETG is fragile and the process is tedious.

this ring is one of a kind, I cannot duplicate the natural rusting or aging process.
